Wedding Photography Package
£800
Your first choice when looking for a photographer should be to find a photographer who takes great looking images. If you don't get great images, then having a fancy leather album is not going to improve things. So the very first thing you should be looking for is a great photographer who shoots in a style that you like. Once you have got that right, the rest is just icing on the cake. We don't feel that you should be forced to take prints or an album that you do not actually want. Once you have a great photographer, he will produce great images for you. Once you have those, then the choice is open as to how you would like to use those images. Whether it be in a traditional album format, a coffee table book, prints or you own personalised web site.
Our straightforward package includes the following:
Additional Options (available at extra cost)
Please contact us to discuss all of the additional options. There is a huge amount of choice on the market for Albums and Photobooks etc. So we would like the opportunity to offer you various choices at varying levels of cost, depending on your personal budget, rather than forcing one fixed product upon you.
FAQS
What is your style of wedding photography?
Our style of photography is commonly called Reportage or Documentary style. We like to blend into the crowd as much as possible - capturing special moments in time, in a modern, stylish, unobtrusive way, that documents your special day. We can, of course, shoot group shots and portraits and your requirements would be discussed in our pre-wedding meetings.
Do you meet up with clients before the Wedding Day?
This is vitally important, we want to know what YOU would like to capture on the day. The things that are important to you, so that we can make your photographs as unique and special as possible. So meeting you before the wedding day is an essential part of this.
When do you start and finish?
We like to try and capture the whole days events, wherever possible, as it gives a completed picture of your special day. We will arrive to capture the brides preparations and will continue shooting until the first dance. However, this is just a guide. We are flexible in our approach and will stay as long as we have to, to capture the best pictures.
What are the options for getting an album or book produced?
There are many album producers on the market, some of the best are listed here. Prices obviously depend on what is required. We particularly like the books made by Booked Images. Which simply exude quality.
Can our friends see our pictures online?
Yes. As part of our package we offer uploading all of the images to our own server on a personalised website, so that friends and family around the world and across the country can view them - and even download them, if you so wish (this option can be turned on or off)
Do you know any good make-up artists?
Yes, plenty. I've worked with many of the best hairdressers and make-up artists in the fashion world. Many who are often willing to do the occasional wedding if asked. If you need someone, let me know.
Are you available to shoot our wedding rehearsal/wedding dress fittings/portraits of us before our wedding?
Yes, we can discuss your requirements at our pre-wedding meeting and give you an estimate of costs for these additional services.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, I have public liability insurance.
What happens if you are ill?
I'm fortunate that I've never missed a days shoot, in the last 20 years. But in this unlikely event, if something prevented me from attending your wedding, then of course I would arrange for another photographer to cover the event at no additional cost to yourselves.
Do you cover weddings nationwide?
Yes. However, if over 50 miles away from us, additional mileage costs and overnight accommodation may be required for the night before the wedding. The same applies to overseas weddings.
Can we meet up with you before booking you?
Of course. This is an essential thing to do, wherever possible. We welcome you to either come and meet us at our home office. Please call us to make an appointment.
How do we make a booking?
Call us to check our availability on your chosen date. After meeting with us, we will require a 50% deposit of the total fee to secure that date. The balance amount is due 2 weeks prior to the wedding.
How can we be sure you will turn up?
I've been asked that question before and it seems a very strange question to ask. You really shouldn't be booking anyone who you don't trust. I have been running a business as a photographer for over 17 years. I have a lot invested in this business. Not showing up to a wedding would be the end of that business - not something that I really want to happen. So short of something seriously bad happening to me or preventing me from moving, then I will most certainly be at your wedding. I wouldn't stay in business long, if I didn't turn up to weddings.
